Our SEM is a TESCAN MV2300T/40 (TS 5136MM). It allows examination of specimens at variable vacuum. Some of its advantages are:

• ability to examine non-conducting, water containing specimens in their natural state under low vacuum

• turbo molecular and rotary pump for clean and fast vacuum

• fully motorized and precise stage movement in five axes

• accelerating voltage between 500 V to 30 kV

• resolution of 3.5 nm in high vacuum

• maximum magnification of 500,000x

• remote control of the microscope through TCP/IP
